Coupé is a beautiful sofa that transforms into two comfortable bunk beds, through a unique mechanism, patented by architect Giulio Manzoni. The transformation from sofa to double bed takes place by lifting the first bed effortlessly, by means of gas springs, and subsequently extracting the second bed (lower).
Incredibly safe, thanks to the safety lock with removable key when the bed is open; the ladder and safety protection are incorporated into a frame that folds inside the two beds.
NOTE. The mechanism complies with EN 747-1; -2 + A1:2015 standards which respectively specify the safety, strength and durability requirements of bunk beds and high beds, for domestic and non-domestic use and the related test methods.
Coupé has a structure composed of a metal part, assembled with external parts in wood agglomerate by means of bayonet joints; the covering is in completely removable and water-repellent fabric, 100% polyester.
NOTE: For the fabric, washing in water at 30°C is recommended; do not bleach; iron with a non-hot iron (maximum temperature 110°C) and without steam.
Orthopedic bed base with electro-welded mesh; lower bed storage compartment also foldable with sheets and blankets.
Padding in differentiated density expanded polyurethane; produced and assembled according to current EU regulations.
The transformable fabric sofa into two bunk beds Coupé measures:
- a length of 221 cm;
- a depth of 98 cm;
- a closed height of 92 cm and an open height of 175 cm;
- a sofa seat height of 47 cm.
The mattresses, instead, are made of foam and measure 80 cm x 190 cm; height of 16 cm.
